1. About us
FoodVibe (“we”, “our”, “us”) is an online platform that allows users to review and rate food businesses, and for food businesses to manage their profiles and engage with customers.
2. Eligibility
- You must be 16 years or older to create a user account.
- Businesses must be legally registered to create a business profile.
- By using FoodVibe, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and truthful.
3. User accounts
- You must register to leave reviews, rate businesses, or interact with the site.
- You are responsible for keeping your login details safe.
- We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms.
4. Reviews & user content
- Reviews must be based on genuine experiences.
- Content must not be offensive, defamatory, misleading, or unlawful.
- We reserve the right to moderate, edit, or remove reviews that violate these rules.
- By posting content, you grant FoodVibe a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to use, display, and distribute it on our platform.
5. Business accounts & subscriptions
- Businesses can create a free profile with basic details (contact info, location, photos).
- For a monthly subscription, businesses can upgrade to a paid subscription, which includes:
- Responding to reviews.
- Analytics and insights.
- Links to food delivery platforms (Uber Eats, Deliveroo, etc.).
- Ability to post updates, offers, and events to followers.
- Subscription fees are billed monthly and renew automatically unless cancelled.
6. Payments
- Payments are handled securely through third-party payment providers (e.g., Stripe, PayPal).
- We do not store your full payment details.
- If a payment fails, we may suspend or downgrade your business account.
- Subscription fees are non-refundable, except where required by law.
7. Prohibited activities
You agree not to:
- Use FoodVibe for illegal purposes.
- Post fake or misleading reviews.
- Attempt to disrupt, hack, or damage our website.
- Copy, scrape, or redistribute content without permission.
8. Intellectual property
- All content and branding on FoodVibe (logo, design, software) belongs to us.
- You may not reproduce or use our intellectual property without permission.
9. Our responsibilities
- We provide FoodVibe “as is” and do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
- While we aim for accuracy, we are not responsible for user-generated content (e.g., reviews).
- We are not liable for loss, damage, or issues arising from your use of FoodVibe, except where required by law.
10. Termination
- You may delete your account at any time.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or as we see fit.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted here with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of FoodVibe means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
